5 Step Walk of Faith

A Study in the Book of Mark

Mark 11:22-24
To help you remember this quick, powerful study-- underline the following words found in the above text and write in the side column or margin of your Bible the numbers 1-5 accordingly.

1. Faith
2. Shall Say
3. Not Doubt
4. Believe
5. Receive

Everyone who has been born-again has already been given the necessary measure of faith. (Rom. 12:3) You have it. It's there. Confess aloud- Father I thank you for the faith you have given me. I release it and activate it now, according to your word. ~~ In Jesus Name.

God's Word in powerful beyond description. He created all of creation with His Word. We must speak, pray and confess His word in every situation.

Always stay on guard against doubt. It is a spirit. It usually comes in the form of a negative thought. Peter was walking on the water and as doubt tried to creep in, he began to sink midway. He then reached for Jesus, which should also be our response when doubt or unbelief tries to come in. His word is always true. Stand firm on what the Word of God says and nothing else.

God's Word is either true or it is not. The world says "seeing is believing." Every instance in the Word, However, God says, "Believe and ye Shall Receive." Unbelief is also a spiritual attack from the enemy. "Believe not every spirit but try them, whether they be of God." (1 John 4:1) All spiritual attacks start with a thought. Try and test those thoughts against the Word. Memorizing, praying and confessing the Word is using our weapons of warfare. (2 Cor. 10:4-5).

When you have done what you know you are suppose to do in these five steps of Faith. Stand! (Eph. 6:13) Give God all the praise, glory and thanks and don't be surprised when you began seeing miracles. Do not be surprised when they come quickly. Expectancy is key. If you sit in a chair, you don't check to make sure the legs will hold. You expect the chair to hold you. When you get in your car and turn the switch, you expect it to crank.
