Excellent substitutes for Rover Boys!
Both series are complete and unabridged--Not the thin condensed ones found at your local library. Those "abridged" and watered-down versions for the modern day reader have in fact replaced these originals because they are shorter, cheaper and are so easy to read. The dumbing down of America has caused these original versions to go out of print. What is in our stock room and the few left at the publishers is all there is left! The copyright owners are catering to market demand and may not never bring these back in print. If so, not this quality and/or at these prices. Both series are 200+/ pages with full-color reproductions of the original covers. They make very nice gifts as well. There is a limited supply of the Nancy Drew Boxed Set.
